Isaiah Austin

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) agreed terms with 27-year old American center Isaiah Austin (216cm-102kg-93, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports). Austin played last summer at Enemies (Big3) in the U.S. He also spent pre-season at San Carlos in Dominican Rep. TBS where in 5 games he had very impressive stats: 19.6ppg, 12.4rpg and 2.8bpg.
Austin is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Austin has played previously professionally in China (Monkey Kings and Guangxi), Lebanon (Beirut Club and Champville), Mexico (Aguascalientes and Panteras), Philippines (Pilipinas), Serbia (Crvena Zvezda and KK FMP Beograd), Taiwan (Yulon Luxgen and Lioneers), United Arab Emirates (Al Naser), Puerto Rico (Mets) and The Basketball Tournament (Loyalty is Love and Heartfire).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Arab Club Championships in 2019. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese NBL Center of the Year between 2017 and 2018.
He attended Baylor University until 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
